BROOKLYNITE INVITES DENNING AND WALKER
If you are unaware of the wonderful Brooklynite Gallery show invites then you now have the opportunity to get your hands on a couple.
Usually available only to the mailing list, and even then on a slightly random basis depending on edition number, the Brooklyn based gallery manage to get their artists to make there own invites, sometimes screen printed, sometimes hand made and most hand finished or signed these are little pieces of art in their own right.

For their next show featuring David Walker and Guy Denning that kicks off on June 12th, Brooklynite have released the invites online and all they are asking for is the postage at $1 per invite. I am guessing with this offer it is 1 per person.
You can find them in the extras section of the online shop HERE

PREFAB77 AND DAVID CHOE AT LAZ
If unlike me you have a big fat wallet and a desire to add another print to your collection you could do no worse than hotfoot it over to the rather rubbish (its good to know that even the top boys get it a bit wrong now and again) Shopatlazarides webstore.
Where they have just dropped a Prefab77 and David Choe (winner of the most ridiculous print title so far) print that would be fit to grace any ones mantle.

BRIGHTON: THE BEAUTIFUL AND THE CANNED
Its that time of the year when Brighton plays host to The Beautiful and The Canned, with work already underway to beautify this lovely part of the south coast this years event looks like it is going to produce some even more impressive pieces than the last.
Keep an eye on the Wet Paint Productions Blog for up to date info and work in progress photos. This quote from the organisers should be enough to get you packing your toothbrush:
"TB&TC 2010 will showcase in the region of 50 artists painting live across several locations in Brighton City centre over the weekend of 8/9 May. Artists include Remi/Rough painting a 20 foot plus tall wall in Church Street. Inkfetish, Mishfit, Kev Munday, DBO Ponders and Sinna painting the entire side of a house. Snub 23, Foundry, Avian Security, Dan Kitchener and Vodker painting a 30 foot building using a cherry picker. Blam, Smug0ne and Estum will be painting a burner near the station and we have many more artists painting several locations in the city across the two days. This includes a specially built 'Paint Box' installation 24 ft x 8 ft squared in Jubilee Square next to Myhotel where exclusive canvases, prints and original artwork will be for sale including Argentinian artists such as Run Don't Walk. The event is a great opportunity to see street artists at work and this year is helping to raise both awareness and money for national homelessness and housing charity Shelter"
