Static have been releasing onto their on-line store a number of one off and sold out prints. Under the banner Christmas Crackers they will be announcing the drops on their facebook page HERE.

NEW YORK: KAI & SUNNY: PRINT RELEASE AND SHOW.

OK so I am thinking about doing a post for the new show print by Kai and Sunny and wondering how to link it in with a show I haven't had the chance to visit or photograph when an email from Kai lands in my inbox with a few photos attached. Job done.

The latest Kai and Sunny show, their first solo venture in New York is titled "Lots of Bits of Star" and is living at the Jonathan LeVine Gallery on 529 West Street, Manhattan. The show will run until the 20th December and features the duo's gorgeous trademark large scale screen printed works on paper, wood and copper. You can have a look at more images from the show on the artists website HERE.

Limited screen prints are available as usual in two colourways this time in Silver and Copper.

Here are some photos from the opening night of Anthony Lister's London solo show at Lazarides, Rathbone. For me this was like being a kid in a sweet shop, luckily I had taken advice from those dear to me and had purposely left the credit card at home, or else I would be the only one in the house with something to open on Christmas day.
The large pieces were great to stand back at and admire how colours that do not live with each other manage to get on just fine together, but the smaller portraights in the back room were the ones that had me transfixed... Thursday evening in North London sees two landmark events occurring in the same place, first the inaugural show for the newly opened Atom Gallery and print house, that show in turn being the debut solo show for London based stencil artist Agent Provocateur; System Failure.
A.P's show takes the form of part retrospective and also introduces some new unseen work with some indoor murals to boot. It's hard to believe due to the amount of posts I have written on the artist that this is his first one man event, but as the old adage goes the best things in life are worth waiting for (or did I just make that up)     

The Private View will kick of on Thursday 20th November at around 6pm.
No guest list required and there will be some free booze, look out for the special A.P designed micro brewery beer.
