Fine Grime Print house have reduced for a LTD time 3 of their Russ Mills/Byroglyphics prints.

"SUSTAIN" "RELEASE" and "ROTENDEN FANTASTAPLEX" can now be grabbed for £95+ VAT. I have no idea when the offer ends so have a look before the price goes back up.

NEW OBEY WORK???

On a trawl around the (other) blogs and poster news sites on the net I found a few new/old examples of Obey art being promoted, not sure where this comes from or where and when they may be released.

This work appears to be a step back to the old style from a few years ago, (and does not seem to be advertising any music or photographic Obey related commercial release) Titled Tyrant boot and Evolve, the latter looks from the photo like a signed run of 450 pcs.

The War by Numbers image on the top of the above pile is rumoured by Posterdistrict.com to be dropped as an offset by the end of the month or early next month.

TODD JAMES AT THE LAZ

Todd James aka REAS will be presenting an exhibition of new work entitled “Blood & Treasure” at The Laz Gallery on Greek Street on the 29th August.

NEW SWOON PRINT AT PAPER MONSTER

Paper Monster release a new print from Swoon titled Switchback Sisters to celebrate the launch of Swoon’s fleet of ships on the Hudson river. All proceeds from this print will go to help those involved in the traveling exhibition “Swimming Cities of Switchback Sea” which runs from August 15th through September 7th, followed by a solo show at Dietch Projects.
The print measures 11" x 32" and is a silkscreen ink and stain on archival paper. The print is signed and numbered by Swoon and is a small edition of 106. You can pick yours up at Paper Monster for $700 (Gulp!)

OBEY WARNING

The Obey Giant website who are about to drop the Duality of Humanity 3 print at around 8pm UK time have put out this warning:

"1 Print per Customer/Household.EBAY’ers and EBAY Flippers are not welcomed. If suspected and caught of Ebaying prints your order will be automatically refunded and you will no longer be permitted to purchase from OBEY GIANT"

But they have not mentioned anything about duckywaddles , fusshop , or any of the other outlets they are happy to sell prints to, knowing that they will treble prices on sold out prints, Get real Shepard, ebay just keeps the secondary market ticking over, without it you would only be running print editions of 200 pcs not 500 per week.

Anyway its dropping tonight for $50 if you want to get one and flip it at auctionsaboteur for £100 then BUY ME

Peter Kennard and Cat Picton Phillips - The Mall

Amilas have a dropped a stunning new print by Peter Kennard and Cat Picton Phillips.

According to Amilias-"The Mall is a complex meeting of two mediums, photo etching and silkscreen. The paper must be wet for etching and dry for silkscreen this means that the images are always being printed off register making it very difficult to match both mediums. Around fifty prints were spoilt during this process. The background is hand screed before being etched and silkscreened, then each print has been finished with gold leaf".
The print is a signed edition of 28 and is hand finished on 410gsm Somerset satin paper. Blimey I guess that justifies the £350 price tag, but it is very nice. BUY ME

If you have not just had your email from POW, this is how it reads

"By now you're probably aware of the distinctly fine work of Sam3 Sam hails from Madrid, looks like a scaffolder and paints like a drunken hippy. COPYRIGHT AT OPUS

Opus Underground are dropping some cracking art from Copyright on Thursday 14 August, I have not yet had a newsletter about this so I stole the pics and info from UK Street art, Cheers Guys.

The first piece above is entitled Get The London Look 2, with a price tag of £250 and comes in an edition of 13 it's painted on cardboard.

The 2nd piece is Romance Fiction its a laser etched skatedeck from a series of 5 and £300 each.

If I had any spare cash I would be banging the door down for one of these.
