NEW PREFAB COMING?

I came across this on The Poster District and thought I would nick it. It reads exactly like this:
Prefab has got two new prints coming our way. The first one is “Loves Me Not” which some people might remember from the Enemy of Promise show. The print will be very heavily hand finished, spraypaint, acrylic, screenprint layer, and finally hand-painted watercolour wings. 750 x 445 mm, edition of 50, £150. (original piece pictured above)
Secondly, yet to be named… Prefab will be releasing a print through Boston based Art Asylum, the sequel to our “Enemy of Promise” print, or “Exploding Phonebox” as most people like to call it. Details to follow on this one, but pictured below is a sneak peak.

OBEY ELEPHANT

UPDATE 10/04: Sorry for directing you towards this without mentioning the truly dreadful website checkout. If like me you sat for an hour hitting F5 only to get into paypal checkout long enough to baulk at the $31 postage to the UK before being crashed out and having your basket emptied, and then finding a sold out sign on your return. I feel for you. It has always been like this and I guess it always will...............

Obey Giant will drop this very nice Shepard Fairey print titled “Obey Elephant” this should be an 18″ x 24″ screenprint with an edition of 450 and a price of $45 if it continues to follow the obvious pattern . These will go up on Thursday, April 9th at a random time. Visit ObeyGiant.com Something tells me this is not going to hang around

OBEY AT SXSW

I got sent this video of Shepard Fairey and the Obey team putting up an installation at Home Slice Pizza in Austin at this years SXSW. I think its quite good.

Gallery90 in London N5 will be hosting Grafters XC, 22 Artist, 1 Sculptor & a Shit Load of Paint show from 10th April to the 4th April with a preview on the 9th and a live paint on 11th.

Regarding the live paint Grafter has this explanation of how it's going to work:On "Easter Saturday 11th April we will be holding a live paint by most of the artists involved, plus a few guests, outside the gallery. They will be painting a selection of boards/canvas and you will be able to watch the pieces being made and, if you like what you see, approach the artist, buy it and take it home with you.We are also encouraging people to bring objects along with them that they would like painted, the more unusual the better, and get their favourite artist to hit it up. We've already got one guy bringing his van, coffee table and living room door with him so it promises to be lively."
