Press Release(part)
"Cult favourite BÄST is synonymous with his native New York and lauded for his work with street art collective Faile and fashion designer Marc Jacobs. Made and printed entirely by BÄST’s own hand at The Outsiders’ dedicated Execution Dock studio, ‘Dalston Unitooth’ is a psychedelic impression of NYLON, the Trans-Atlantic dimension where the hipsters of America and Europe come together. Each giant screen print features eighteen colours applied by BÄST himself using oil paints and acrylics. This includes 22-carat gold leaf adroitly applied upon the 'unitooth' itself. Only three of the twenty-one colours are applied with a silk screen press"
